WE HAVE SOME NEWS!
Hi @everyone we have some news! The Roanoke County Planning Department has informed us that on December 12th, 2024, ABoone Real Estate, Inc. requested to withdrawal its application for rezoning. This petition will no longer be heard by the Roanoke County Planning Commission on January 7th, 2025, or Roanoke County Board of Supervisors on January 28th, 2025. The planning office says it will be sending out updated letters shortly.
This is certainly not over by any means, but hopefully a more responsible plan for growth while maintaining the character and history of our community can be developed!
